This course is intended for kids who have some background experience in Scratch or other block coding tools and are looking to move onto a new coding language.

From crudely designed Atari sprites to hot retro gaming trends, 2D pixel art brings vibrant art to life to many of our favourite games and characters.

In this 4-part course, we’ll explore the fundamentals of computer engineering and how those concepts can be used to create all sorts of redstone contraptions in Minecraft.

Co-facilitated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kawartha Lakes – Haliburton, LifeBlox – Wholebody Wellness Program is designed for female-identifying and trans female youth, ages 9 to 13 as a welcoming space to talk about day-to-day challenges and peer relationships.
