Using Krita’s wide variety of brush presets, pencilling in the program is a breeze. There are a few layers and grouping practices that can improve your drawing and make things easier down the line.

Working with layers we are going to start penciling in our art. Krita offers a wide variety of brushes and many pencils to choose from. Using our sketch from the previous video lessons we are going to use that to make our final penciling. We will also learn some drawing techniques such as rotating our canvas so we can get smoother, more natural, lines. This will also prepare us for our inking that we will go over in part 6 of the Krita for Comics series.
