LifeBlox: Wholebody Wellness for Female-identified and Trans Female Youth – Lindsay Makerspace

Co-facilitated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kawartha Lakes – Haliburton, LifeBlox – Wholebody Wellness Program is designed for female-identifying and trans female youth, ages 9 to 13 as a welcoming space to talk about day-to-day challenges and peer relationships. The group will highlight healthy eating, physical activities, mental wellness, healthy relationships and friendships online and in-person, self-esteem, and peer pressure through fun, interactive activities. This program features games, coding, and digital arts activities.

This free in-person course is for female-identifying and trans female youth ages 9-13. Participants are invited to join us in-person at our Makerspace located at 87 Adelaide St N, Lindsay, ON.

In the event that we are unable to run this course in-person due to Public Health COVID-19 restrictions or Pinnguaq’s own safety policies, we will be offering an online version of the course for all participants registered.
