Learn the basics of coding in Python using Edublocks!
This course will teach participants the basics of coding in Python using Edublocks. They then use what they learn and apply this to circuits that have been designed to display graphics for game development!
All participants will be loaned a PyBadge (a programmable handheld gaming device) for the duration of the course. A parent/guardian will need to sign an agreement, which will be sent after confirming your registration.
A computer, laptop, or Chromebook is required to participate in this workshop. Unfortunately tablets are not compatible with the PyBadge devices used in this course. For ages 9–12 years old. This program runs every Monday from May 3–June 28 hosted online through Zoom.
* No class on Monday, May 24 because of Victoria Day. Make-up class will be Monday, June 28 *
