Like a sunflower in the sun, Pinnguaq is growing bigger and bigger each day. As we continue to build our curriculum and expand our outreach into new communities, we are looking for passionate and dedicated people to join Pinnguaq’s team! We are very excited to announce that we are hiring!

We are hiring for 6 new positions – and when I say new, I mean new – these are brand new roles that we are bringing into our organization. Whether your expertise is in teaching, technology, digital skills, organization, management, networking, or creative thinking, we are looking for it all! • Nunavut Makerspace Manager [Full Time] | Location: Nunavut
  The Makerspace Manager will be hired to manage the launch of 17 new MakerSpaces across Nunavut over the next 5 years. Each Makerspace will be a place communities can go to, to learn coding workshops and develop digital skills. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for teaching digital technology to youth and who has the leadership ability to manage our teams at each MakerSpace, ensuring that it is developed and managed to reflect the unique needs of its community.
• Program Delivery Manager [Full Time] | Location: Lindsay, ON
  The Program Delivery Manager will be responsible for managing a team of digital stewards and support workers that will be leading digital tech workshops with youth in remote and rural communities in Ontario and Nunavut. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for teaching digital technology to youth and the ability to lead a team of on-the-ground staff delivering workshops.

• Human Resources Manager – Wrap Around Support Services [Full Time] | Location: Lindsay, ON
  Our amazing team is at the heart of our programming. We are hiring an HR Manager/Wrap Around Support Services who can manage the diverse HR needs of our diverse staff. This position will be responsible for supporting staff in Ontario, BC and Nunavut.
• Publications Manager [Full Time] | Location: Flexible – Ontario (Lindsay)
  We’re hiring a Publications Manager to launch an educational publication filled with STEAM resources for teachers. We’re looking for someone who can oversee print production workflow, editorial, design and distribution process. In this amazing new role, you’ll work with an energetic team of designers and contributors to produce this learning resource.
• Digital Skills Teacher [(2)Full Time]| Location: Flexible – Ontario, Nunavut
  Digital Skills Stewards will be responsible for delivering coding workshops and camps in remote communities in Canada. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for teaching digital technology to youth and who has the leadership ability to manage a classroom and deliver lessons as part of a small team.

• Digital Skills Support Facilitator [(2)Contract]| Location: Flexible – Ontario, Nunavut
  Digital Skills Support Facilitators will be responsible for delivering coding and digital skills workshops and camps in remote and rural communities in Canada. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for teaching digital technology to youth and adults and who has the leadership ability to manage a classroom and deliver lessons as part of a small team.
