- Each Elder will need an email address. If they do not have an email address, Pinnguaq will provide an email address to use.
- Access to the Internet either through WIFI or through the digital package provided.
- Google Chrome (this will be pre-downloaded on the device.)
- QWERTY keyboard — learners can type in Roman orthography, and all will be typed in syllabics automatically.
- Keyboard (Optional) - Keyboards are provided if this is easier for learners to type on the tablet.
- Cue Card with tips that outline each step in the lesson for the learner.
- No prior knowledge of Facebook is necessary.
- An Email address and/or cell phone number required when setting up a Facebook account.
- The Facebook App will be downloaded ahead of time on the tablet.

- No prior knowledge of Zoom is necessary for learners.
- Youth Mentors will have scheduled a practice Zoom call ahead of time for today’s session. They will need all of Elder's email address to do this. Schedule a call during your Zoom session with Elders, send them each an invite using Zoom to the video conference.
