Game Makers: Intro to Game Design | Summer Camp

Online

Get hands-on with the coolest new handheld gaming device! The PyBadge puts the power of video game creation in the palm of your hand, and we’ll loan you one to explore developing and demoing your own games with MakeCode Arcade coding.

This free online camp is for youth in Iqaluit and Pangnirtung, Nunavut, and Curve Lake First Nations and the Kawarthas, Ontario.

Tablets are not compatible with the PyBadge device, so you will need a computer, laptop, or Chromebook with an internet connection to participate in this camp. If you don’t have a compatible device or reliable internet connection, email us at ckldelivery@pinnguaq.com so we can help ensure your child can participate.

All participants will be loaned a PyBadge device for the duration of the camp. A parent/guardian will need to sign an agreement, which will be sent after confirming your registration.
