Pinnguaq believes that any experience made available in your language can help make the world a little smaller, and more accessible. We practice this message through the localization of existing interactive and visual experiences into Indigenous languages. Below are a sample of some of the projects we've localized to date.
If you are interested in seeing your project brought to an Indigenous language, contact us and let's talk.
Osmos: 2010 iPad game of the year is available on iOs and Android in Inuktitut. The Inuktitut release was completed in 2013 and helps bring one of the most award winning games in mobile history to the Inuktitut language. Developed by "Hemisphere Games", the localization was completed by the contribution of 70+ Nunavummiut when Pinnguaq crowd sourced the translation through a unique software engine.

Available on PC/Mac and Linux in Inuktitut language. Translated and released by Pinnguaq and Ludocity in 2014.
Beneath Floes: Qikiqtaaluk, 1962. The sun falls below the horizon and won't return for months. You wander the broken shoreline, wary of your mother's stories about the qalupalik. Fish woman, stealer of wayward children: she dwells beneath the ice. Localized in 2015 after a successful Kickstarter, Beneath Floes is a beautiful piece of interactive fiction available in Inuktitut, English and in the very near future, Anishanaabemowin.
